Gone.... But Not From Our Hearts

At 11:00 PM Fry's spirit left his body. He passed very peacefully in his home, surrounded by familiar things and most importantly our immense love. We are heartbroken but we know that he is no longer in pain. His body deteriorated very quickly and towards the end he was having difficulty walking. This evil and horrible disease took him away from us.

We miss him terribly but we are comforted that he lived a very spoiled life. I challenge any of you to find a cat that lived so full a life and was more spoiled than Fry was in his short life of 1 year and 7 months!

It hasn't completely settled in yet that our baby kitty is gone, but perhaps it's because he is still here comforting us. I could feel him and his love as we came back from dropping his body off at the vet's. It surrounds us in the apartment and we know he is happy and loves us as much, if not more, than we love him.

We are eternally grateful to Dr Amy and all that she has done for us and her love of Fry. We know he will be missed by many at the vet hospital. We are also greatful to Dr. David Grant who came to our home so Fry could pass peacefully here with us rather than confused and scared at the vets.

We will never forget Fry the cat who was more like a dog in a cat outfit. He truly is a one-in-a-million cat and can never be replaced or forgotten. Stay tuned to this blog for many awesome Fry stories and many pictures.

We love you Fry and we always will. We can't wait to be reunited with you and our other pets and for that very special and fuzzy reunion.
