Hey everyone, We started Fry on steroids yesterday, and sent blood work at that time as well. The blood work came back and his globulin protein level had increased from what it was before (7.4) to 8.5 (normal is ~5). It also shows that he is now anemic, where the disease is affecting his bone marrow. He has slightly increased bilirubin levels as well that mean the liver and kidneys are not completely cleaning the blood to the level that they should.
The Veterinarians now strongly believe that he has the rare 'dry' form of FIP. Steroids is really the only path now and we should know more by the end of the weekend after he completes the higher doses as part of the initial load before reducing him to a maintenance level. Just wanted you to know the latest and I'll let you know if anything else comes up.
And for your enjoyment...

I have some very embarrassing baby talk videos myself when I was trying to make Isaac laugh and smile for the video camera.
